Gary Richied

Gary Richied is the Director of Marketing and a LPL Registered Administrative Associate at Round Hill. Before joining the team, Gary served as an Adjunct Professor of History at Loyola University-Chicago and taught American and European History at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois. He is a published author in the fields of history, economics, theology, philosophy and social science. Prior to embarking on his history and teaching career, he earned his B.A. in History and French from Loyola University-Chicago, his M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and his M.A. in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in Saint Louis.

Gary’s primary role and focus at Round Hill is to engage with existing clients to help ensure a superior client experience.  He employs existing resources such as the website, newsletters and social media - as well as introducing new tools such as podcasts and video content - in communicating Round Hill's unique value proposition to the community.  Most importantly, Gary's extensive background in the study of economic history provides the Round Hill team a valuable resource in researching and assessing the economic conditions of the day.

Gary hails from the western suburbs of Chicago, but has also lived in Rome, Memphis, Denver and Saint Louis.  He spends his free time enjoying the company and busy schedules of his four children. Gary is an avid golfer, traveler and baseball fan, especially of minor league teams and parks.
