David Swanson is a Principal and wealth advisor at Round Hill Wealth Management. He joined the firm upon its inception in 2013, and has 19 years of financial services experience.
Dave believes that helping clients pursue their goals in today’s financial and economic environment requires a deliberate, thoughtful and comprehensive approach to financial and investment planning. He takes pride in his ability to listen and develop customized strategies aligned with each client’s individual goals and values. Dave’s investment philosophy centers around the belief that detailed financial planning should lead to investment selection, and not the other way around.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin. In addition to his background with financial planning and investment selection, Dave offers clients an extensive knowledge of strategies designed with the goal to help meet insurance needs as well as saving for education expenses.
Dave lives in Frankfort, IL with his wife, Constance, and their golden retriever, Samson. He and his wife enjoy traveling and exploring the diverse restaurant scene in Chicago. Dave has been a die-hard Cubs fan all of this life and enjoys going to several weekend games throughout the season.
